Double Circle Earring with Labradorite Gemstone Drop
This gold plated earring is a connected double circle pendant with a lapis lazuli briolette drop. With the top circle being about he size of a dime, it is the perfect size, llight weight with just enough movement. It has a modern design with its roots in the Egyptian movement of the art deco period.
Suspended from the pendant is a small, 7x9mm, lapis lazuli briolette drop.
The piece is inspired by the female, Egyptian Pharaoh Hatshepsut of the, 5th pharaoh of the 18th dynasty. She wore the beard of a male Pharaoh and altered her image to be more masculine. She was the most prolific builder in Egyptian history.
