Lock and Key Founder Tony Perrin is a museum nerd at heart and cherishes the many memories and numerous hours he has spent in museums around the world. It all began with "field trips" with his Mom and sisters to LACMA and the LA Brea Tar Tips in Los Angeles when he was a kid. His passion for the mystery and allure of a museum has only grown through out the years and today a museum is a must see where ever he might be traveling too.
His collaborations with national art institutions such as Winterthur in Winterthur, The Getty Museum in Los Angeles, The Frist in Nashville, and The Plant Museum in Tampa, to name a few, have been most rewarding. Telling important stories of their heritage through his artisan jewelry creates an even deeper tie to museums, art education, and the power of connecting his creative voice to the visual arts.
